Ricky and Ryan are hopeful that the suspension issues that plagued them at the last round of the Hyundai Heavy Industries British Sidecar Championship have been resolved in time for round 4 at Snetterton this weekend.

After a difficult third round that saw them relegated to third place in the championship rankings, the pair are looking forward to redeeming themselves at the Norfolk circuit.

The guys really struggled with getting the configurations of the outfit right at Knockhill, and in the last of the three races they lost all grip which was attributed to an issue with their suspension.

That, on top of their DNF in the first race really set them back.

At this stage in the championship, they can’t afford any more silly mistakes and will have to bring their A-game to Snetterton.

In the first race at Knockhill, Ricky and Ryan got tangled up with other teams and the wheel arch on their fairing came off which led to their early retirement from the race.

Though the damage looked quite dramatic, Ricky confirms that it was mostly superficial and that the outfit is back to running order.

Their main concern has been the suspension problems that slowed them down in the third race.

The team has been working around the clock to get the sidecar back up to scratch and they have made tweaks to the suspension which they hope will resolve the grip issue they experienced at Knockhill.

Ricky and Ryan have also been training four to five times a week to ensure their fitness levels are at their best.

They are quite excited to go to Snetterton this weekend and give it their all.
